3. Complete the Application Form available in the studio
4. Attend the first Lesson.
For new models, the 1st session is free with no obligation to join.
Models attend one Saturday (or Sunday) per month
9:00-13:00 at our studio or on location. Alternate times are notified in advance.
Fees
Fees are charged regardless if the model attends designated shoots. We understand with school activities, illness etc., models may not be able to attend certain dates, therefore where required we offer a catch-up shoot for that theme.
Costing
The Out of Africa Modelling school is run as a non-profit service to the community. Never the less certain costs need to be recovered and the following fees are reflective of this.
Basic Fees are
-R150 for ad hoc lessons,
-R400 for 3 months
-R700 for 6 months
-R1200 per 12 months

Communication
communications have a Whatsapp group where parents can communicate with each other Out Of Africa can communicate with parents. Parents may contact the photographer directly at the number supplied on the application.
A Note for Parents
ORGANISATION, ADMINISTRATION, AND MANAGEMENT

As far as possible, parents are encouraged to take active roles in the running of the school; as far as their resources and enthusiasm permit.

Overall authority of the commercial entity rests with StudioBay Photographics, however, this primarily is limited to ensuring legal and financial compliance and ensuring training and certification are recognized against industry norms.
​
All financial transactions are transparent and decision-making processes are open to scrutiny. In effect, the Out of Africa Modelling School, whilst a private entity trading under StudioBay Photographics is run by a Governing Body. The School cannot be successful without the support of parents and therefore parents are given as much decision-making authority as possible.
